Congolese Documentary Project
The Narrative Foundation
This film project seeks to document and give voice to the experiences of members of the Congolese community living in Lexington, Kentucky, one of the largest in the U.S. Through filmed oral history interviews, participants are invited to share their experiences in the U.S. surrounding work, family life, language, faith, culture, and identity. The resulting documentary movie and oral history collection are intended for educational and cultural purposes, with an end goal of wide distribution as well.
Your privacy matters. Options are available for those who do not wish to be filmed on camera (audio only) or wish to keep their identity anonymous.
